DOKAI RAGE LAYERS (Series or singles)
"Identity is not an image. It is a system of layers."
DOKAI RAGE LAYERS consists of five digital portraits generated exclusively from fragments of BECKER’s own face. No brush, no paper, no physical medium — yet the works feel corporeal, almost vibrating.
The series understands identity as layering. Distortion is not used as an effect but as a condition. Color overloads, lines rupture, the face dissolves — not to disappear, but to reorganize itself.
Each work carries an emotional code:
GAAAN! — impact.
KA! — impulse.
GOGOGOGO — acceleration.
SATORI — clarity.
HANGEKI — counterforce.
These portraits do not document expression. They construct states — spaces between shock, overload, focus and redirection. Installed as suspended acrylic panels, the works form a layered corridor. Viewers move between them, producing reflections and shifting visual axes. The body becomes a layer. The digital becomes physical. DOKAI RAGE LAYERS does not depict anger. It spatializes it.
DOKAI RAGE LAYERS is part of the upcoming exhibition BETROGENER TRAUM and belongs to AREA 02 — Shock.
