BETROGENER TRAUM

A Berlin exhibition of 80+ works and a 56-track techno concept album — a seven-area journey from collapse to transformation, built as a collective rebuild after betrayal.
Triggered by a real case of fraud and exploitation in the art world, BETROGENER TRAUM turns anger into form —
and aftermath into agency.
TARGET GOAL

Berlin
More soon

This was not the exhibition. This was a first viewing.
A test.
We wanted to know:
"Does it work? Does it move people? Does it hold?"
It did.
Every single work received votes. People stayed. People felt it. “WOW” was said more than once.
BETROGENER TRAUM is not a promo project. It’s a rebuild.
Thank you to LOEWE SAAL for giving this system its first real space to breathe. Spaces like this make independent art possible.
Now we’re looking for partners and supporters to make the
full Berlin exhibition happen in 2026.
If you believe in independent art — in building instead of waiting — let’s talk. ✌️
BETROGENER TRAUM is the story of a dream that was stolen — and of an artist who chose to take the ruins and build an entirely new universe out of them.
STORY
Why it exists
In 2024, I prepared for a group exhibition in Tokyo. A dream. A promise. A breakthrough I had worked toward for a long time. What awaited me was not triumph — it was betrayal. Triggered by a real case of fraud and exploitation within the art world, something began to speak: anger. Not as destruction — but as a motor for transformation.
The Decision
After it happened, one truth became clear:
No one was coming to open the door.
So I stopped waiting to be discovered.
I built my own space — and I built it wide enough for others to step into.

What BETROGENER TRAUM became
BETROGENER TRAUM is not revenge. It is a rebuild.
A system of seven Areas — a walkable journey from collapse to release.
A world where paintings, objects, installation and sound merge into one immersive experience.
Why it matters (today)
This project is personal — but it isn’t only personal.
Because betrayal, silence, gatekeeping and exploitation are patterns many creatives know.
BETROGENER TRAUM exists to make that visible —
and to prove that transformation is possible when we build together.

EXHIBITION - What it is
BETROGENER TRAUM is a Berlin exhibition world of 80+ works —
built as a physical journey through 7 Areas
(emotional zones / narrative levels).
Paintings, objects, mixed media and installation merge into one immersive experience.
This is not a white-cube show —
it’s a world you move through.
EXPLORE THE 07 AREAS
Each Area functions as its own frequency:
Entry → Pressure → System → Fracture → Distortion → Integration → Transformation
A walkable process — from collapse to release.

AREA 05 - COMMUNITY LAYER
Area 05 is curated as a platform space for other artists who have experienced exploitation, exclusion or broken promises within the creative industry.
It expands BETROGENER TRAUM from one story into a shared field — a collective voice.

AREA 07 - Transformation & Support
The final Area is the closing transformation — but also an opening.
Area 07 connects the exhibition to real-world orientation: artists’ rights, support networks, guidance, and pathways forward.
Built with the support of: Loewe Saal GmbH · STUDIO.jetzt · The Gallery by M&C Saatchi · Alex Wendler · Anja Vatter · This project grows through collaboration. Help us fly. Become a partner.

MUSIC
The soundtrack
is part of the exhibition
The BETROGENER TRAUM concept album is not background music.
It is a second experience layer — physical, emotional, in your face.
Written, created and produced by BECKER,
the album translates his works into sound:
techno as a mantle for anger, expression and release —
and under that mantle, the images begin to speak.

56 tracks — no two alike
This is a full concept album built like the exhibition itself.
Some tracks hit as hardcore intensity,
others flip into unexpected sweetness — but none are predictable.
To fully experience BETROGENER TRAUM, the album is meant to be heard front to back.
All tracks are released on SoundCloud under BECKER’s AI-jockey pseudonym:
AMANDO GRÜN ▶︎ Listen here: PLAY
