DREAMSPLICE

3.200,00 €Preis

"A dream tries to repair itself. The earthquake comes later."

DREAMSPLICE does not depict a dream — it captures the moment a dream begins to disassemble itself.

The wooden panel is not a neutral support. Wood resists. It carries memory, tension, pressure. Unlike canvas, it does not yield easily. Every line meets resistance — and that friction becomes visible.

Thick acrylic layers collide with nervous fineliner marks and chalky fractures. The surface reads like a seismic recording — an EEG translated into color. The lines do not decorate; they tremble.

The figures are not bodies. They are states. Thoughts with eyes. Emotions with limbs. Mental avatars attempting to stabilize a slipping reality.

Vertical bands cut through the image like glitch signals — visual error codes. Projection and perception collapse into one another. DREAMSPLICE belongs to the phase in which the subconscious overlays reality in an attempt to repair inner rupture.

Framed, the work floats like a preserved fragment — a mental organism suspended before collapse. DREAMSPLICE is not rage. It is the tremor before it.

DREAMSPLICE is part of the upcoming exhibition BETROGENER TRAUM and belongs to AREA 03 — Construction.
