MASTER PEACE

18.000,00 €Preis

"My future is mine. And at night, my painting belongs to itself."

MASTER PEACE is the final work of BETROGENER TRAUM – consciously positioned as an ending. After this painting, nothing more was created. It functions as a personal milestone, almost a vow.

By shifting “Masterpiece” into “Master Peace,” the work rejects artistic triumph. Peace becomes the highest authority – not dominance, not ego.

Two textual axes define the structure:

“It’s my future not yours.” A boundary. A reclaiming of authorship over biography, work and destiny. Not an attack – but self-determination.

“U R NOT YOU.” Addressed not to an opponent, but to the viewer. Identity appears unstable. Personality becomes surface. The work does not explain – it destabilizes.

Seven symbols reference the seven areas of the exhibition. They operate as seals, switches, frequencies – not decorative elements but structural components.

The phosphorescent ground introduces a second ontological state. In daylight, the painting reads as expressive density: text, fractured figures, target-like markers, drips and coded zones.

In darkness, hidden areas begin to glow. Background becomes active. The painting acquires a second life. The underlying question is simple and radical:

Does art sleep at night? Or does it continue, unseen?

MASTER PEACE does not claim peace. It tests whether it can sustain itself in the dark.

MASTER PEACE is part of the upcoming exhibition BETROGENER TRAUM and belongs to AREA 07 — Transformation.
